FAQs
Who can apply?
You qualify for the Hospitality Internship/Trainee Program in USA if you meet the following criteria:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are going to train in a field related to your academic or professional background.
- You are able to commit to stay in the US throughout the entire duration of the program.
- You have a passport valid at least 6 months past your program end date.
Interns: you are currently enrolled in and successfully completed at least one semester of studies at a foreign degree or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside USA; OR have graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to the Program start date.
Trainees: you have a degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary academic institution, obtained more than 12 months prior to the Program start date, AND have at least one year of work experience outside USA; OR you have at least five years of work experience outside USA;
What is the English requirement?
You are sufficiently proficient in English to successfully interact in an English-speaking environment.
What documents do I need?
Passport valid at least 6 months past your program end date, and your updated resume in English.
What happens if I don’t get selected?
No worries! The HireMeFair is just the first step. If you don’t get selected on the spot, we’ll keep connecting you with Hotels/Restaurants until you land your dream placement abroad. Your journey doesn’t end the day of the fair, it’s just the beginning.
